Buc-ee’s, known for its exceptionally clean restrooms, fresh food, and friendly beaver mascot, is set to unveil its latest travel center in Hillsboro, TX on Sunday, April 21, 2024. The center will open to the public at 6 a.m. CDT, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. CDT.
Located at 165 State Highway 77 (NEC of I-35 at HWY 77), the new Buc-ee’s Hillsboro will occupy an area of 74,000 square feet and house 120 fueling positions. Visitors will be able to enjoy popular Buc-ee’s items such as Texas-style barbeque, homemade fudge, kolaches, Beaver Nuggets, jerky and fresh pastries.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be attended by Hillsboro Mayor Scott Johnson, members of the Hillsboro City Council, City Manager Megan Henderson, Economic Development Director Art Mann, as well as Hill County Judge Justin Lewis and the Hill County Commissioners Court.
Following the opening of Buc-ee’s Hillsboro, the company will have a total of 49 stores across Texas and the South. The company has also started construction on new locations in Virginia and Mississippi earlier this year.

The starting salary for these jobs is well above the minimum wage and includes full benefits, a 6% matching 401k plan, and three weeks of paid vacation.
